One of the few great drinks to come out of the 1980’s, the Bramble is basically a gin sour served over crushed ice with the delectable addition of blackberry liqueur. The London bartender behind the drink, Dick Bradsell, says the flavors remind him of his childhood on the Isle of Wight. While we may not all have a childhood as delicious as a Bramble, we can damn well do our best to make sure our adulthood is. We kept the London roots of this cocktail intact with Sipsmith’s London Dry Gin, a craft distilled gin that captures the quintessential London Dry style at least as well as the good old boy distillers pretend like only they can. Combine that with Merlet’s classic Creme De Mure blackberry liqueur, some simple syrup and fresh lemon juice and you’re off to making some jolly memories of your own. Kit includes cocktail recipe card.
