The creation of Chris Blackwell and Joy Spence, contains heavy pot and column distilled rum aged in American Oak barrels for 18-24 months. The “Black Gold” element generates a punchy black rum depth while mixing with the velvety lightness, long smooth finish and radiant splendor of a gold rum. It’s handcrafted in small batches using a long fermentation time to produce a deliciously intense chocolatey hit with a deep, handsome, characteristically Jamaican amber glow, an exotic aromatic release, a tantalising hint of burnt coconut, and a toffee-like sweetness on the way to a bold, glowing spice finish. Nose of tar, sugar crystals, orange peel, cocoa, and cigar box. Palate is fruity and easy with dried fruits, walnut, yeast, and hogo.
